Activities

NEOPAST's fields of activity include municipal water treatment (drinking water and wastewater), industrial water treatment (process water, cooling systems, and wastewater), agricultural solutions (irrigation and greywater reuse), and specialized applications like military and emergency relief. The company provides both custom-made and modular systems, utilizing technologies such as filtration, reverse osmosis, UV, activated carbon, and ion exchange.

Municipal and public sector

Drinking water: Treats municipal water to improve quality, remove turbidity, odors, and organic matter.

Wastewater: Treats wastewater for reuse in irrigation or for safe discharge, often involving advanced tertiary treatment methods.

Greywater: Provides systems to treat greywater for non-potable uses like irrigation and indoor reuse.

Military and emergency relief: Designs compact, portable systems for purifying surface or turbid water in remote or emergency situations.

Industrial sector

Process water: Designs systems to supply specific water requirements for industries such as food processing, paper mills, mining, and textiles.

Industrial wastewater: Treats wastewater from industrial processes to comply with regulations and minimize waste.

Cooling and steam systems: Provides solutions for high-quality water for boilers, heat exchangers, and other cooling systems.

Agricultural and environmental

Irrigation: Provides both mobile and stationary arrays to filter water for agricultural use, including advanced systems that integrate fertilizing capabilities.

Water conservation: Offers systems that reduce water demand by recycling treated water for irrigation and other applications.

Technologies employed

Filtration: Multi-media, screen, reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), and activated carbon.

Chemical and biological treatment: Coagulation, flocculation, activated sludge, biological treatment, and advanced oxidation.

Other technologies: Ion exchange, UV disinfection, and membrane bio-reactors.
